These are the same as the other ECS spark plugs which have chamfered faces where the ground electrode is attached by welding. This chamfer was added to strengthen the weld and eliminate electrode burn off.Both are impressive. I am coming of a pair of 2016 900 aces and the additional power and, new chassis and suspension are awesome. There is a noticeable difference in power between the 2. IMO the tools should have put the level plug at that spot rather than at 12 ounces, to avoid all the confusion. No damage will be done if you want to fill it all the way to the level plug.
