I personally think Talica 25II is out of it's league with 400lb class fish in the mix, Talica 50II is probably the next logical choice if you're going with Shimano. You might have a better hookset with a single hook AT TIMES, but your going to get more chances to set the hook with the treble. If you hook into a nice Cubera you will need it, and the fish don't seem to mind the heavier leader. For the big tunas at Hannible I go also go #80 to #100 PE line with a 25' wind on leader say #80 to #100.The reel comes with 3 handles and the power handle is perfect for slow-jigging. You can also set it a 3 different lengths. I use the middle one, I think 85mm. The longets one is 95 I believe. The reel has a good drag, stated at 12 kg.
