You can also help them by building cathedrals-type building in their lands when you get the right technology. I don't know if you need a DLC for this feature, though. And you need to have some building space available in the considered province.

The COA I designed for the country looked very nice when it converted into EU4, exactly how I would want it to look. I would say it's Paradox's best internal-management, economy-sim right now that isn't Vic2 (which isn't saying much compared to CK3, EU4, and HOI4, but still). Iirc the ck3 to eu4 took no longer than 1-2 months to come out. VIC3 “technology” wise is p ahead of EU4, so it might honestly take awhile. I just want a vic3 to hoi4 converter tbh.
